Robin Denise Johnson, Ph.D.

Dr. Johnson earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University, an M.A. in Psychology from Harvard, and a B.A. in International Relations and History from Brown University.  Dr. RobinDenise Johnson is the author of Dance of Leadership, Career by Design, Organizational Behavior: A Multicultural Approach (with Carlos Gonzales, Ph.D.).  Her audio and e-books include Ask! (Negotiations strategies for women/multicultural managers) and Leading your multicultural team to high performance.  She is also the author of academic articles. She designs Career Management, Leadership, Team Dynamics, and Diversity-Inclusion/Multicultural Awareness programs for corporate, academic, and non-profit organizations.  Prior to attending graduate school, Dr. Johnson was an International Finance professional and manager for 10 years with Chase Bank, McDonald’s Corporation, and Lloyds in London.  She speaks English and French fluently, converses in Italian and Flemish, and has studied Portuguese and Malay.  Dr. Johnson dances.  She is director of Troupe Melangees, producer of Cardio Tribal Belly Dance dvds, and Manager of Saraswati's Arms (a multicultural arts space).  She lives and works in southern California.

Stacy Blake-Beard, Ph.D.

Dr. Blake-Beard holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park and a MA and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan.  Dr. Stacy Blake-Beard is an Associate Professor of Management at the Simmons School of Management where she teaches organizational behavior and is affiliated faculty in the Center for Gender in Organizations at Simmons. Dr. Blake-Beard sits on the advisory board of a number of organizations, including MentorNet and Jobs for the Future. Her client organizations for issues of diversity, implementing formal mentoring programs and team-building, including JP Morgan Partners, Chase Manhattan Bank, Swisshotel, PepsiCo, New Leaders for New Schools, Harvard University Graduate School of Education's Urban Superintendent's Program, The PhD Project, The Compact for Faculty Diversity and BBN Technology/Verizon.  Prior to her academic work Stacy worked in sales and marketing at Procter & Gamble and in the corporate human resources department at Xerox.

Donna Maria Blancero, Ph.D.

Specialties include Latinos in Corporate America, focusing on their experiences with regard to mentoring, networking, discrimination, fair treatment and psychological contracts, fairness and psychological contracts, alternative dispute resolution, and customer service, mentoring, networking, and emotional intelligence.

Dr. Blancero obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Dr. Blancero has been active with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs [NSHMBA] for 10 years and currently serves as the Chairman of the National Board of Directors. She is also on the National Board of MENTóR, the National Hispanic Employee Association. She is an advisor to the Management Doctoral Student Association of the Ph.D. Project.  With approximately eight years of work experience prior to her academic appointment, Dr. Blancero continues to consult and research with companies on issues of fairness and diversity.

Glenn Brome

Glenn Brome has over 20 years experience as a facilitator, trainer, speaker and coach.   Glenn is experienced in accelerating cultural change within both union and non-union work settings. Glenn develops training proposals, programs, assesses training needs, develops goals and facilitates management involvement in training programs. His clients include Walt Disney World, Bell Atlantic, Jack Morton Productions, Tribune Company, Florida Cities Water Company and Poinciana Utilities, Appleton Papers, Sheetz Incorporated, Eurest Dining Services, Sea World of Florida, Pick Kwik Food Stores and Sarasota County Government. Bernardo M. Ferdman, Ph.D.

Dr. Ferdman is Professor at the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management, Alliant International University, in San Diego, California, with over 22 years experience as a consultant, teacher, and writer on issues of diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion in organizations; ethnic and cultural identity; Latinos/as in the workplace; and organizational behavior and development. He earned a Ph.D. in Psychology at Yale University and an A.B. degree at Princeton University. Dr. Ferdman served as president of the Interamerican Society of Psychology and Chair of the Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division of the Academy of Management, is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a Charter Fellow of the International Academy for Intercultural Research. In 1991, he received the Gordon Allport Intergroup Relations Prize from the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, and in 2006 he received the Outstanding International Scholar-Practitioner Award from the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management. As a consultant, Dr. Ferdman has worked with a variety of organizations to improve performance and leadership and to increase inclusion, focusing on assessment, coaching, and training in the context of diversity. He has published widely on issues of diversity, inclusion, and Latinos in organizations, and is active in the community, currently serving as co-chair of the San Diego Latino-Jewish Coalition, and as a member of the board of the American Jewish Committee’s Latino and Latin American Institute.

Cassandra Mitchell, an organizational consultant and coach, has more than 20 years experience in developing great leaders and their teams. Her development experience ranges from large-scale organizational design to one-on-one leadership coaching. Ms. Mitchell is currently a Principal in Executive Coaching Connections, LLC. with clients from Banco Popular, Baxter Healthcare, Follett Corporation, Forsythe Technologies, Classic Residence by Hyatt, Kraft Foods and McDonald's Corporation. Before working with ECC Cassandra Mitchell worked for Bank One for14-years most recently as First Vice President and National Learning Design manager. Audrey Murrell, Ph.D.

Audrey J. Murrell received her B.S. from Howard University, magna cum laud, M.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware focusing on social psychology.  She is on the faculty of the Katz Graduate School of Business.  Her research examines factors that can impact the careers of women in management including sexual harassment, affirmative action and workplace discrimination – and has published her research widely in academic and popular media including the Wall Street Journal, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Pittsburgh Business Times, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Black Enterprise and Jet Magazine.  Audrey Murrell has received numerous awards including the 1998 Chancellor’s Distinguished Public and Community Service Award.  She serves on several Boards of Directors including the Minority Enterprise Corporation of Southwestern PA, Family Services of Southwestern PA, Three Rivers Adoption Council and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross.  As part of her volunteer service, Professor Murrell works with the ARC in several roles within the disaster services unit. 

Shanthi Srinivas, Ph.D.

Specialities include strategy, implementing change, quality management, leadership, team building, job commitment issues, stress management, managing outsourced global workers (especially in India), and organization design.

Shanthi Srinivas has more than 20 years of experience teaching in the academic environment, conducting research and consulting in the area of management. She has offered seminars and workshops on quality management, strategy, leadership and team building to academic audiences as well as to executives in the US and overseas. Her research and consulting work focus on the topics of job commitment, job stress, teamwork, decision making and women in management. Recently, she has been studying call centers to identify individual factors that relate to successful employee performance and satisfaction. Shanthi received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. She has held various administrative positions including serving as Associate Dean for the College of Business Administration at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she is currently a Professor in the Management and Human Resources Department.
